v2.9.2 restores reliable standalone verification for every published package. It supersedes v2.9.0 and v2.9.1 for consumers adopting the Tell workspace refactor and unified reasoning controls introduced in v2.9.0.

Standalone Package Verification

  • Every released package now exposes an exact Composer tests script and a package-local PHPUnit configuration.
  • Tests no longer depend on the monorepo root vendor directory or hidden root test support.
  • Package manifests now declare the runtime and test dependencies required by their own source and test suites.
  • Package-local support fixtures and resource resolution work in both the monorepo and split repositories.

Release Pipeline

  • The split-package workflow invokes the exact tests script instead of Composer’s fuzzy script matching.
  • Release verification rejects missing or monorepo-relative test contracts before dependency installation.
  • PHP 8.3, 8.4, and 8.5 package matrices run independently so one failure does not hide compatibility results from the other versions.

Upgrade Notes

No runtime API migration is required from v2.9.0 or v2.9.1. Upgrade related Instructor packages together to v2.9.2 so their synchronized constraints and standalone package metadata remain aligned.
